🚜 Another project completed by JTH Excavation! 💪

The homeowner needed a shed pad for her new shed, but once it was in place, the grade was too steep to easily get a lawn mower in and out.

We brought in dirt to build up the grade, compacted it for a solid base, and finished everything off with topsoil, grass seed, and straw to help establish new grass.

This is why grading matters.

The before pics tell the whole story - leaves, trapped moisture, old plastic, and ground sloping right into the basement windows. The homeowner was constantly fighting water inside.

We opened it up, installed a French drain tied into the downspouts, raised up those window wells, and completely re-graded so everything now flows away from the house.

It’s not just about digging a trench - it’s about solving the actual problem so it doesn’t come back next heavy rain.
