MJS Construction is proud to serve as the **General Contractor** for the ongoing renovations at the Swampscott Public Library.

This project includes the complete reconstruction of the building's front entrance, featuring a new vestibule, demolition of the existing floor-to-ceiling windows and entrance, new concrete steps and patio, and the construction of a new brick wall to create a welcoming and durable new entryway for the community.

Working in an active public facility requires careful planning, coordination, and collaboration among our project team, subcontractors, and stakeholders. We're excited to help enhance a community resource that serves residents of all ages while preserving the character of this important public building.

Great progress continues at the Swampscott Public Library renovation project.
✅ Stamped concrete installation was completed last week on the upper plaza slab.
✅ New front stairs were poured last week, marking a major milestone in the site's entrance reconstruction.
✅ Masonry crews have mobilized and begun work on the new front walls and site features.
✅ Carpenters are actively installing windows throughout the new vestibule addition and along the front building façade. The vestibule structure is rapidly taking shape, with new Pella window units being set and weatherproofing work underway.
The project continues to advance as multiple trades work simultaneously to transform the library's front entrance and improve accessibility, functionality, and the overall appearance of the facility.
