PROJECT MANAGER POSITION AVAILABLE:
MJS Construction Inc is a growing general contracting company based in Middleton, Massachusetts, specializing in commercial construction and renovation projects throughout the North Shore and Greater Boston area. Our projects typically range from approximately $300,000 to $2,000,000 and include a variety of commercial, Housing, and site construction work. We are looking for a motivated Construction Project Manager to join our team and help manage projects from start to finish.
Position Overview
The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong coordination between clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
Key Responsibilities
Manage projects from pre-construction through completion and closeout
Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff
Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents
Prepare and manage subcontracts and purchase orders
Track project costs and manage project financials
Process and track RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Conduct regular jobsite visits and coordinate with field supervisors or superintendents
Communicate project updates to clients and internal team members
Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company procedures
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management
Experience working for a General Contractor
Strong knowledge of construction documents, scheduling, and cost control
Ability to manage multiple projects at once
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Planswift and other programs
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience managing commercial projects in the $500K–$2M range
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
