Things your kitchen designer should tell you BEFORE you order cabinets. 👀
Your cabinets are a big investment, so don’t order them until these things are figured out:
1️⃣ Finalize the layout first.
Don’t choose cabinets based only on how they look. Your layout needs to work for the way you cook, clean, and move around the kitchen.
2️⃣ Confirm appliance sizes and locations.
Refrigerator, range, dishwasher, microwave, hood—everything needs to be planned before ordering.
3️⃣ Plan your storage accessories.
Spice pull-outs, utensil organizers, trash bins, pantry pull-outs, appliance lifts, and drawer accessories need to be considered from the beginning.
4️⃣ Think about countertop space.
A beautiful kitchen isn’t functional if you don’t have enough room to prep and work.
5️⃣ Check clearances.
Doors, drawers, appliances, islands, walkways, and seating areas all need enough space to function properly.
6️⃣ Choose finishes as a complete design.
Cabinet color, countertop, backsplash, flooring, hardware, and lighting should work together—not be chosen separately.
7️⃣ See the design before you order.
A 3D rendering allows you to visualize the space, make changes, and feel confident before anything is purchased.
The cabinets are important—but the design behind them is what makes the kitchen work. 👌✨
