Started the day with a railing install so my customer could start using her front door, making entry a little easier. Next was to repair her front window with water damage. That turned out to be a much more involved job than expected once I removed the aluminum trim covering the sills and trim boards and discovered extensive damage. All rotted wood was cut away and replaced with custom cut replacement patches and sills. All in all, I was able to extend the life of this old window and save my customer thousands of dollars.

Phase 1 of this kitchen remodel is done. The company is coming on Tuesday to measure for the countertop. I'll be back to...

Removed the old wood trim and replaced it with PVC so it will never rot again. Also pressure washed the front porch, walkway and back patio. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures after the pressure washing since the rain had set in while I was finishing up the back patio. I'll hopefully get some updated pictures when I got back in a few weeks to replace a window in the shed. My customer was very happy with the results!

Again, my mind is mush. I forgot to take a picture before I cut through this basement floor for this sump pump install. No matter how many times she's tried to seal this basement off, water always seems to get in and pool at this spot, eventually spreading out from here. It doesn't solve the problem of the water getting in, but hopefully it won't get any further now.

Well, we braved snow, ice and frigid temperatures but, the deck at my brother's house is done until Spring. Just waiting on the town, and better weather to replace and extend the roof over the deck. Structure is pressure treated and the deck itself is Trex, Azek and Deckorators railings. I'm very pleased with how good this looks and how solid it is. This deck will outlast both of us.

Finally got started on this huge makeover with the repair of really bad termite and water damage. Tore out the improper quick fix and repaired the damage properly. Replaced the damaged rim joist and floor, made everything water tight and replaced the door. Very happy with how the project has started.
