Meet Andrea!

Currently focused on the schematic design phase for the Port of Los Angeles Outer Harbor project, Andrea brings energy and precision to our studio’s waterfront master planning efforts.

When she steps away from the desk, her ideal days involve soaking up the Miami sun at the beach, catching classic and new releases at the cinema, or taking off on her next travel adventure.

Translating iconic architecture into an immersive interior experience. Designed for an 8,000-square-foot Japanese fusion concept, this study explores moments of anticipation and softness, combining sweeping wood curves, Issey Miyake-inspired forms, and muted tones into a continuous landscape.

Materials tell stories! Here one layout, yet the change of materials produces a new atmosphere. This is why texture is one of the most powerful tools in interior design!

A closer look at the upcoming 27 W Flagler lobby renovation.

Our team is redesigning the entry to open up the first two floors, letting in much more natural light and connecting the public spaces. The design pulls together warm walnut paneling, rich green tones, and soft lighting to bridge the building’s historic character with a welcoming, hospitality-focused vibe.

Behind the scenes

A look inside our design process as we select the materials, textures, and palettes for the upcoming lobby renovation. Inspired by the calm, layered tones of Miami and tropical Art Deco history, we are bringing together rich walnut finishes, emerald tones, and custom botanical motifs to completely transform this Downtown Miami space.

When we design, we are always thinking about movement, time, and how people actually experience a space.

For a major cruise terminal, that means choreographing the journey of thousands of travelers. Through diagrammatic models and massing studies, we mapped out a seamless sequence from arrival to departure. By carefully layering functions across each level, the building naturally guides the flow of people, turning complex logistics into one smooth experience.

How do you design a modern gateway that respects centuries of history?

The Columbus Cruise Center sits right at the mouth of the Ozama River, bridging Santo Domingo’s colonial heritage with sustainable design. The master plan balances complex cruise logistics with welcoming public access straight into the historic Colonial City.

By integrating floating walkways, vibrant commercial areas, and resilient features like green roofs and solar shading, we’re creating a waterfront where history, innovation, and natural beauty exist in one continuous conversation.
