Custom restaurant audio system designed and installed by Infinite Audio Systems for Deliz Italian Steakhouse in Chicago, Illinois.
Engineered specifically for Deliz’s two-story layout, the system delivers consistent full-range sound throughout the indoor and outdoor dining areas, two bars and the dedicated DJ environment—allowing each space to create its own atmosphere while remaining part of one cohesive audio experience.
Even the restaurant’s distinctive stairwell became part of the audio design. A single compact Infinite 3DX Mighty loudspeaker is mounted vertically near the midpoint of the staircase, using its 120° coverage pattern to project up and down the stairwell while remaining visually unobtrusive.
Throughout Deliz, the compact Mighty loudspeakers are augmented by Infinite VLF-115 very-low-frequency systems. Used on the terrace, at the bars and in other areas, the VLF-115 gives these remarkably small loudspeakers the low-frequency foundation to sound full, substantial and much larger than their physical size suggests.
At the center of the restaurant, the custom DJ booth uses Infinite 3DX Mighty loudspeakers as extremely compact professional DJ monitors. Their small footprint delivers the monitoring performance the DJ needs without introducing oversized portable-style loudspeakers that would compete visually with the dining room and interior design.
