While rainwater flows through the turf and drainage system, it doesn't remove pet urine, bacteria, organic debris, or the ammonia that causes odors deep within the infill. In fact, extra moisture can make existing smells even more noticeable.

A quick update from our Apollo Beach turf replacement!

By early afternoon, the entire turf installation was already down and taking shape. But what really makes a pet turf system successful isn't just what you see on top—it's what's happening underneath.

This yard had some significant odor issues, so we didn't just replace the turf. We treated the entire area with an antibacterial solution and installed zeolite granules throughout the system to help neutralize odors before they become a problem.

Our goal is simple: build a turf system that looks great, drains properly, and stays fresh for years to come.

Big transformation underway at our Apollo Beach turf replacement project!

We've removed the old turf and taken everything right down to the base layer. The new turf has arrived, the crew is on the way, and we're installing a premium drainable product designed specifically to perform better for pets and families.

This yard is about to get a complete makeover:

✅ Premium SGW turf on site
✅ Installation underway

Not all artificial turf is created equal.

This customer was dealing with persistent odors, and the reason became obvious during testing. Pet turf is designed to allow urine to drain quickly through the backing and into the base below. But as you can see in this video, the old turf barely lets water pass through, causing urine to stay trapped in the system.

The comparison speaks for itself:
