Parks are more than playgrounds. They are places where communities grow, families connect, and memories are made.
We were proud to celebrate the opening of the newly improved Sun Lakes Park in West Kendall, a project designed with accessibility, recreation, and long-term community use in mind.
As Miami-Dade County Commissioner Roberto Gonzales shared during the ceremony, public spaces like this can have a lasting impact on families and on the communities they serve.
The improvements at Sun Lakes Park include:
🌳 A nature-inspired embankment play area
♿ Fully ADA-accessible play zones and pathways
🏀 Two new basketball courts
🌿 New landscaping and high-efficiency irrigation
🌴 Improvements designed to preserve and protect the park’s mature tree canopy
For Lunacon Construction Group, projects like this are a reminder that the work goes far beyond construction.
It is about creating places people can enjoy, rely on, and return to for years to come.
We are grateful to Miami-Dade County, the Parks Department, Commissioner Roberto Gonzalez, and everyone involved in bringing this project to life.
Here’s to building stronger communities, one public space at a time.
