The Greater Miami Chamber's Workforce Housing Committee is hosting a program on Florida's Live Local Act, focused specifically on the development opportunities available on government-owned and school district-owned land.

Speakers will cover how public land can be used for housing development, recent updates to the Live Local Act, and the tax incentives and strategies available to support workforce housing projects across Miami-Dade County. The program is designed for real estate developers, investors, lenders, architects, general contractors, and business leaders working on housing affordability.

The FHBA Young Building Professionals Council is hosting an education session on AI and automation for the next generation of builders.

FHBA Secretary Frank Coppola will open with practical takeaways from his involvement in the AI Bootcamp, followed by Heidi Cramer, Business Consultant with the Florida SBDC at FGCU, who will cover how AI and automation can save time and make day-to-day communication easier.

Florida contractor license renewals come with continuing education requirements that are easy to put off and harder to catch up on at the last minute.
