Old wood is worth saving.

These shutters had seen better days, but the structure was still there. A lot of sanding, repair work, cleanup, and refinishing later, they’re back to showing off the grain and character that made them worth keeping in the first place.

Restoration isn’t always the fastest route, but when you’re working with older homes and original woodwork, replacement isn’t always the right answer either.

One of the things I enjoy most is building custom frames that bring artwork to life.
A longtime customer asked me to create these rustic frames for two paintings from his personal collection. I love seeing how the finished pieces complement both the artwork and the character of his home.

Had to bring in the big dogs for this nightmare. This failure could have been avoided by properly keeping moisture out with a properly applied paint job.
