The article, “Contemporary artwork pairs with midcentury furnishings for a showpiece house,” discusses the process the design team, builders and homeowners underwent during the renovation with a focus on art & décor. Mixing and matching sentimental pieces of art from the homeowners and adding in new modern art & décor throughout their new home to create a seamless look.

30 Years ago, on this day, Floridians are remembering the devastating effects of Hurricane Andrew & its heavy impact on our community. Although this is a sad day to think back on, it is also a proud one for CDC Builders. Today marks it's 30 Year Anniversary in business. It was after this storm when Jose Ortega made the decision to start CDC Builders. This 1925 Spanish Style historic home was given a modern update, with a focus on preserving as many elements as possible from its original form. The article goes into detail all the collaborative efforts it took from the designer, architect, builder, city’s historical board and landscaper to make it all come together. “Past Meets Present" - Through a sensitive renovation, a near-century-old residence embraces old and new.
