Lucente 🌊 This residence unfolds as a sequence of monumental yet serene spaces shaped by proportion, light, and material depth. A dramatic double-height atrium forms the heart of the interior, where a flowing sculptural chandelier traces the geometry of the space and softens the vertical scale. Walls and architectural elements are finished in natural stone and eucalyptus wood, whose expressive grain introduces warmth and tactile richness to the composition.

Sculpted staircases, rhythmic panels, and carefully framed perspectives guide movement through the house, revealing layers of calm and refined detail. The result is a timeless environment where architecture, craftsmanship, and materiality merge into a quiet expression of contemporary luxury.

YODEZEEN • Restaurant & Bar Design Awards 2026 Shortlist

Two YODEZEEN projects have been shortlisted for the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards 2026, with ALBA | Italian Restaurant restaurant in Europe - Luxury and MOI in Europe - Surface Interiors categories. Both are in London, but they could hardly be more different.

This year more than 1,100 projects were submitted across 53 categories, with 225 making the shortlist. Having two very different London projects selected is a strong result for our team, especially in a city where we really enjoy working.

For the years, every YODEZEEN project featuring Silver Roots has begun at the same source — the Arslanlar Marble quarry in İzmir, Türkiye. Working directly with the quarry gives us access to the full family of the stone, from Blue Armoni to Terra Mystic. Here, we are searching for the most expressive structures, including rare onyx veins running naturally through Silver Roots.

Direct sourcing also allows us to secure exceptional block dimensions and the largest possible slabs, creating bespoke elements carved from a single piece of stone. For YODEZEEN, material selection begins long before the interior takes shape — at the place where the stone itself is born.

M/Y Ximena 🛥️ The interior that is built through details

Buttery leather, brushed metal, marble and textured glass add contrast while keeping the palette restrained and tactile. Wooden ceiling slats reference the rhythm of teak decking, while in the cabins the same motif is reinterpreted in leather-wrapped slats across ceilings and headboards.

Piping becomes another recurring detail, tracing the lines of upholstered furniture and interior wall panels and reinforcing the sense of precision throughout. It is this repetition of materials, seams, textures and finely crafted transitions that gives Ximena its quiet, highly considered luxury.

Yumenomori 🇯🇵 One of YODEZEEN’s most iconic projects, one that is truly timeless. Yumenomori stands proudly in a seismically active zone, with its architectural structure being a testament to cutting-edge engineering and adaptive design. One of the most striking features of Yumenomori is its rock garden—a symbolic landscape element that draws inspiration from Japan’s reverence for nature.

Yumenomori is YODEZEEN’s first completed project in Japan, curated from Europe with a passion for blending cultural depth with contemporary architecture. In our design, this translates into a flow between the built environment and the natural world, creating a timeless retreat that feels both ethereal and grounded.

L’ETO Restaurant 🌱 Where architecture unfolds like a living landscape. Woven forms rise around monumental columns and drift across the ceiling in a continuous, sculptural rhythm. At the heart of the space, the bar becomes a glowing centre of movement, conversation, and connection.

Natural textures, softened light, and flowing lines turn every detail into part of one immersive story. A restaurant designed not only to be seen, but to be felt.

Monsoon 🌿 In the humid heat near Mumbai, architecture begins not with form, but with climate. This 934 sqm private residence is already the finalist of World Architecture Festival 2026.

Cascading water elements unfold across different levels of the landscape, softening the air and dissolving the boundary between built form and terrain. Semi-transparent shutters filter the intense sun into gentle patterns of light, allowing the house to breathe — a contemporary response rooted in regional memory.

Bortok Residence 🩶 Every surface of this completed home has been treated as an artistic canvas. With its subdued colours and refined material palette of stone, bronze and semi-precious finishes, the home has a sculptural presence. It is a dialogue between past and present, exemplifying how sacred cultural elements can coexist within the language of modern interiors.

Floors throughout the house are treated as artworks, with floral-patterned parquet, stone slabs and brass inlays adding layers of texture. A weighty metal coffee table, sourced at a vintage auction, invites close inspection.
