From dated and conventional to immersive and unexpected.

This Brickell Penthouse powder room was completely reimagined as a compact architectural experience—one where every inch was intentionally choreographed.

A floating wood portal frames the vanity as a sculptural vignette. The freestanding basin is paired with a dramatic Gessi Flessa ceiling-mounted faucet, allowing water to descend from above as part of the design itself. Crocodile-textured leather wallpaper wraps the room in rich tactile depth, while indirect perimeter lighting softens the surfaces and creates a warm, theatrical glow.

The mirror expands the visual volume, the curated objects add personality, and the contrast between wood, porcelain, metal, leather, and light transforms a small footprint into an unforgettable moment.

An NKBA Award Winner, 2020, and another example of the message behind EOLO DESIGN -AIA-LEED AP VFTI conversations: wellness is not only about function. It is also about how a space makes us pause, feel, and experience our daily rituals.

WHEN A BUILDING BECOMES A STAIRCASE.

Termeh Office Commercial Building in Hamedan, Iran.

Designed by Farshad Mehdizadeh Architects + Ahmad Bathaei, the building turns a simple office-commercial program into a sculptural public gesture.

The ground floor is used for retail, while the upper floor contains a private office. Instead of treating the two levels as separate boxes, the architects bent the dividing slab into a habitable staircase, connecting the office directly to the street.

Its brick surface continues across the facade and stair, using local brick and traditional bricklaying patterns to connect the contemporary form with its historic urban context.

Architecture here is not just a facade — it becomes a path.

A penthouse deserves a kitchen that performs like one.

This Sunny Isles layout was not easy—an odd footprint, tight proportions, and a kitchen that felt too small for the home’s scale. Our response was not just “make it prettier.” It was designing daily life: expanding the footprint, creating a breakfast nook with ocean views + balcony access, and building concealed storage into custom millwork so the space could breathe.

And because wellness is practical, we worked closely with the clients on ergonomics and real routines—how they cook, host, move, and start their mornings—so the design supports the way they actually live.
