Nineteen days, in the middle of Miami.

18 June — old covering off, deck exposed and inspected.
7 July — finished architectural shingle.

In between: deck repairs, fastening brought up to current standards, the water barrier, then the covering itself. On a street with parked cars, neighbours ten feet away and a garbage truck that still needs to get through.
