Another important milestone at the South Dade Transit Operations Center.

The NV2A Dragados Joint Venture recently completed load testing for the charging infrastructure located on the first level of the facility’s two level parking garage. Designed to accommodate and charge 100 articulated 60 foot battery electric buses, this system will help keep Miami Dade Transit’s fleet energized, maintained, and ready to serve the South Dade community.

The 218,600 square foot facility will also support bus maintenance, operations and administration, parts storage, body repair and paint, service and wash lanes, facilities and systems maintenance, and other essential transit functions.

The Underline keeps moving South Florida forward.

NV2A Central JV is proud to celebrate the recent completion of Segments 4 and 9, two important connections expanding access for pedestrians, cyclists, families, and transit riders.

Segment 4, the Miami Connection, runs between SW 31st Avenue and SW 38th Avenue, connecting the Coconut Grove and Douglas Road Metrorail stations and completing the connection from Coral Gables to Brickell.

Segment 9, the Dadeland Connection, extends from SW 80th Street to Dadeland Boulevard. As the southern endpoint of The Underline, it connects users with transit options farther south.

Together, these segments add over 1.2 miles of path for pedestrians and cyclists, more than 59,000 plants and trees, the Mariposa Gardens amenity, and two innovative high-density forests.

From vision to reality. What began as a bold idea to transform the space beneath Miami's Metrorail into a vibrant linear park is now becoming one of South Florida's most impactful public infrastructure projects.

As the Design Builder for The Underline Phase 3, the NV2A Central Joint Venture is proud to help bring this vision to life, creating safer connections, expanding mobility, restoring native landscapes, and building welcoming public spaces that will serve our communities for generations. Phase 3 spans 7.36 miles and completes Miami's iconic 10-mile linear park beneath the Metrorail corridor.

Another important milestone for The Underline Phase 3.

The NV2A Central Joint Venture team approaches the completion of Segment 6 in Coral Gables extending from SW 42nd Avenue to Granada Boulevard.

With heavy construction work now complete in this area the team is focused on putting the last finishing touches as our team prepares to deliver this magnificent linear park segment to the community.

Across more than 7 miles, Phase 3 will bring safe biking and walking paths, native landscaping, lighting, seating areas, hydration stations, bike amenities, public art, and programmable spaces for the community to enjoy.
