🚨 Hidden Mold Remediation in Progress 🚨

Not all mold contamination is visible on the surface.

In this project, moisture became trapped behind the wall assembly, creating the perfect environment for hidden microbial growth. During our investigation and removal of the suspected affected materials, we discovered microbial contamination in some areas behind foil-backed insulation, wood furring strips, and underneath the window sill plate where moisture had been trapped over time. It was not visible behind the baseboard or the front side of the drywall upon starting.

To safely address the issue, our team established a full containment chamber with HEPA-filtered negative air pressure to prevent cross-contamination throughout the home.

👷‍♂️ Full containment setup was installed to properly isolate the affected areas and prevent cross-contamination throughout the home.

🧰 Remediation completed following industry protocol, including removal of impacted materials and HEPA-filtered cleaning of all surfaces.

Aquara Restoration – Mold Remediation Completed 🛠️🏠

In this project, our team established full containment 🚧 using ZipWall poles to isolate the work area and protect the rest of the home. All contaminated drywall and materials were safely removed ✔️, and the exposed structure was thoroughly HEPA-vacuumed 🧼 and decontaminated.

We then set up an air scrubber 🌬️ with ducting exhausted to the exterior to continuously clean and filter the air 🫧. A dehumidifier was also placed inside containment to control humidity levels 📉 and prevent further microbial growth 💧.

Even after material removal, this equipment remains in place to maintain clean airflow and ensure the exposed area stays stable and safe until final testing is completed to ensure proper clearance 🧪.

Aquara Restoration is pleased to report the successful restoration of a residential property impacted by Category 3 black water following Hurricane Helene. The property, located in Crystal River, Florida, suffered extensive damage with 3 feet of contaminated water intruding into the home, affecting structural components, personal belongings, and appliances.

Our restoration process began with the safe disposal of all unsalvageable materials, including personal items, furniture, drywall, and flooring. We carefully removed damaged structural elements and conducted a comprehensive cleaning and sanitization of all contaminated areas to prevent the spread of harmful pathogens.
