The restoration of the 1928 Pancoast Residence began with the addition of a new studio above the kitchen, conceived as a contemporary treehouse within the historic complex.
Originally designed by Miami Beach architect Russell T. Pancoast during his exploration of Moorish Revival architecture, the residence was carefully restored through extensive research into historic photographs and the existing building fabric.
Modern technology was integrated discreetly, preserving the character of the original home while introducing contemporary comfort and accessibility.
The result brings together historically authentic craftsmanship and thoughtful new interventions in a seamless continuation of Pancoast’s work. 🏡
