Today meant more to me than people may ever understand.

A mother drove two hours just so her son could sit down and talk with me. He’s in the 12th grade… struggling in school, pushing back at home, and losing focus on where he’s headed. When we talked, he listened. Really listened.

I was honored to mentor him.

If there’s only one thing I accomplish in this life, let it be this, helping somebody change direction before it’s too late.

People traveled from as far as Virginia just to come see me. Maybe I’m not always treated like a star where I live… but I shine wherever people truly appreciate me.

And sometimes… that’s enough. ❤️
