Thoughtfully Designed. Expertly Built.

Leslie Cheatham is the owner and operator of LHC Builders. With a longline of family contractors, Leslie found herself unexpectedley taking over as contractor on the construction of her very own home in 1989.

15 years later her interest was sparked to start building again. She received her contractor's license in 2003 and has since built 40+ homes throughout the New Orleans area, ranging in styles from modern, to French provincial, to cottage-style. In 2009, Leslie brought on her daughter as Project Manager. The mother-daughter duos has become a staple in the Old Metairie construction field. One of our favorite parts of a custom home is seeing all the details come together.

At 413 Phosphor Ave, the chandeliers came out stunning, each one perfectly complementing its space ✨

It’s hard to pick a favorite detail from 220 Arlington, but this staircase is definitely one of them.

The molding, the railing, and the way everything comes together just feels right. ✨

We all need a moment that’s just ours, that’s why we design spaces that bring calm into everyday life.

Soft light, warm oak, and subtle gold touches flowing through the master bath, closet, and vanity. If a reset space is what you’ve been looking for, this is where it starts.
