A primary bath doesn't need a tub and a shower boxed into separate corners to feel finished. Sometimes it needs them sharing one room.

This Tempe home's primary bathroom was rebuilt around a large wet room, a freestanding Signature Hardware soaking tub set right next to the walk-in shower, both running on a full Schluter waterproofing system underneath.

A-Team Construction built the wet room as part of this home's full remodel, the same project that opened up the kitchen and main living space.

Matching a new cabinet finish to one that's already ten years old isn't a small ask.

This Ahwatukee home's new desk nook needed its cabinets color matched to the homeowner's existing kitchen cabinetry exactly, not close, not similar. The custom cherry desk cabinets were finished to sit seamlessly next to a kitchen that was never touched during this remodel.

A-Team Construction built the desk nook as part of this home's larger living room and fireplace remodel.

A freestanding tub and a walk-in shower sharing one open space sounds simple. Getting the waterproofing right underneath it isn't.

This Chandler primary bath's wet room runs a full Schluter-Systems North America waterproofing system under the Arizona Tile Marvel Statuario Supremo floor and shower wall, with a Signature Hardware freestanding soaking tub set right alongside the shower instead of tucked into its own corner.

A-Team Construction built the wet room as part of this home's full primary bathroom remodel.

Some remodels change how a room looks. This one changed how the whole house feels.

This Mesa home's full remodel replaced dark, closed off cabinetry with a run of bright white Medallion cabinetry specified to open the whole kitchen up, floor to ceiling storage included. A stone hex backsplash and warm brass fixtures finished the room, they were not the starting point.

A-Team Construction handled the full kitchen remodel end to end, from demo through the final cabinet install.

A guest bathroom is usually an afterthought. This one wasn't.

As part of this Tempe home's full remodel, the guest bathroom got the same waterproofing standard as every other wet space in the house: a full Schluter system installed before a single tile went down, the kind of step a designer checks for and a guest never has to think about.

A-Team Construction built the guest bath alongside the kitchen and living area remodel already underway in this home.

A wall of stacked stone runs floor to ceiling in this Ahwatukee living room, built around a linear fireplace at its center.

Tumbled ledger limestone in mixed beige and grey covers the wall from floor to ceiling, with a solid wood mantel above a British Fires linear electric fireplace built directly into the stone.

Floating wood shelves and built-in cabinetry finished in a blue flank both sides, topped with Travertino Honey countertops from Arizona Tile. Getting the stone, the cabinetry, and the fireplace insert to line up as one wall means coordinating every trade before a single stone goes up.

At A-Team Construction, we believe the best built-ins look like they were never anything but part of the house.

The 32nd Way project is taking shape, and what goes behind the walls matters just as much as what you’ll eventually see.

For this build, we’re using the ZIP System, an integrated sheathing and flashing system designed to help create a strong, weather-resistant building envelope.

We brought Ryne with Huber Engineered Woods and Hunter with 84 Lumber Company out to the jobsite to talk through the system, why we chose it for this project, and some of the benefits we’re already seeing during construction.

Building a luxury home isn’t only about beautiful finishes. It starts with making smart decisions at every stage of the build, including the parts most homeowners will never see once the home is complete.

Follow along as we continue documenting the 32nd Way project from the ground up.

A black and white marble mosaic wall runs from the vanity backsplash straight through to the linen nook in this Chandler primary bathroom.

The pattern is Bedrosians' Monet Honed Marble Mosaic, laid in Oriental White and Nero Marquina, set against black quartz countertops and warm wood cabinetry so the pattern stays the focal point of the room.
