Through our sister company, Fleming West, we build buildings from the ground up and also specialize in Butler Pre-Engineered steel buildings. We know commercial buildings and put "Complete" in our name because a new industry model emerged - one that required contractors to be a comprehensive one-stop resource for commercial repair, tenant improvements and new construction services to increasingly busy clients. Construction progress continues at this Phoenix site development project.

Recent work has included expanding the entrance area, installing irrigation systems, and removing forms from completed headwalls as the site infrastructure continues coming together.

We’ve started a Phoenix area rooftop HVAC replacement and mechanical upgrade at an active warehouse facility.

Early scope is focused on installing new condensate and drain lines, along with structural supports and steel reinforcement to prepare for new rooftop equipment. This groundwork is essential before removing existing evaporative coolers and installing upgraded high-efficiency systems.

With operations continuing on-site, work is being carefully sequenced across all trades to keep everything aligned and progressing smoothly.

Quick update from our HVAC replacement project—this time we were on the receiving end of the disruption.

Three rooftop units replaced in just two days, with operations continuing throughout and clean-up now underway.

We are proud to take part in OSHA’s National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls. Within the construction industry, falls continue to rank among the most serious hazards, yet they remain preventable through disciplined planning, continuous training, and dependable protective equipment.

Even general contractors deal with construction disruption—we just get to see it from both perspectives.

Our HVAC units recently gave out, so we prepared our facility the same way we would for any client project: plan thoroughly, move quickly, and keep operations going as much as possible.

Now we’re experiencing the process firsthand—a bit of disruption, a warehouse that’s temporarily out of order, and a focused three-day timeline to replace all three units.

What keeps it manageable comes down to the team: skilled crews, proactive superintendents, and trusted trade partners.

Site construction life in Phoenix has been full of surprises lately.

First, we had an unexpected bee situation 🐝
Now we’ve uncovered something a little older—a dry well from the 1940s that was never properly decommissioned.

Definitely not on the original checklist.

The good news is we’ve got strong trade partners and the experience to handle it the right way. Plans are in motion to address the dry well while our Superintendent keeps the rest of the project moving forward—expanded parking, landscaping, and perimeter walls are all still on track.

It’s construction… you plan it, then the site occasionally laughs and says “nice try.”
