The importance of getting a Condensate Drain Line Flush!
We got a call of a customers unit not cooling. We found that even though the condensate was draining, very slowly. (1st picture )
The condensate safety switch still activated due to it being plugged up. (2nd picture)

Once it was cleared, you can see all the gunk that was plugging it up.

This is why drain line flushes and safety switches are important to have installed. If this line plugged up more, had no safety switch installed, then it could result in water damage to a ceiling.

Your condensate line running from your AC unit should be constantly dripping water- as much as 7-8 gallons a day during the high humidity days of the monsoon season.

A plugged condensate line can cause water damage as the water has to go somewhere.

IF HUMIDITY IS HIGH - AND YOUR DRAIN PIPE IS DRY- CALL US! 480-813-TRUE

PS: hindsight, get the condensate line moved to drip into the gutter 😆
