We are grateful for all forms of support that enable us to further our mission with everything gardening, sustainable living & more. We are a nonprofit network of volunteers who provide ‘Garden Exchange Stands’ and ‘Seed Libraries’ all over the country. Each location is unique space that is open to all visitors and members. Join us to explore, learn and visit any of our locations and you can even get a chance to meet some of our volunteers and team at any of our fun activities and events throughout the year.

Guess what!
🌱 Nasturtums are emerging here at the "city farm" homestead headquarters in Mesa, Arizona U.S.A.
You know what that means, get you're seeds in the ground now.
Our Seed Libraries are closed during the summers and won't open until the temps are in the low 80's. Seeds are a living thing.

🏡 All items at any location is donated by the community, please bring your shares labled, we really appreciate that 🙏

As always a single post about the event announcement.
National Tree Week November 21-29 2026
We will be participating in this year's National Tree Week.
Here at the "city farm" homestead headquarters we will have out some tree seeds and cuttings for you to take and plant on your property. Each of the locations will vary, so check back during daylight hours during National Tree Week to see what's available because you never know what other gardening friends will drop off for sharing.
The tree council say's it perfectly.

This year’s theme - ‘trees near you’ - is all about celebrating the trees that are part of our everyday lives. From the trees lining our streets and parks to those in school grounds, communities and local green spaces, these trees make a real difference where we live. They provide homes for wildlife, improve our wellbeing and help create healthier, greener spaces. This National Tree Week is a chance to notice, appreciate and take action for the trees right on our doorstep.

Fall Repair Cafe in Chandler Fall 2026
We will have the Free Seed basket during their event. Stop on by and see how to make origami seed packets, package up seed for future Free Seed Tables and Stands or drop off any extra seeds you might have for sharing.
We invite you to come on Saturday, October 17th, 2026 to help us make a difference in this community or bring something that needs to be fixed. Whatever your skillset, whatever your level of interest or expertise, we need you!
Our free fixit events are held at Chandler First Church of the Nazarene, 301 N. Hartford St., Chandler, AZ 85225. The event is in the gym, which is located on the north side of the campus, off of Flint Street. The public time for the event is 9:00 am - NOON.

If you have a skill to help out with the most asked question we receive from potential volunteers is: Do you need my help? The answer is a resounding YES. We have a few "regulars" who volunteer almost every time, and we love to engage new volunteers with the steady stream of items in need of repair. We ask that the volunteers come 15-30 minutes early to get set up and ready to go.
