3/4 bath laundry room done from scratch.
I need to update my page with my jobs I've done in the last 6 months.
Here's my latest project. We did a bath remodel on this 70s bathroom. The tub was already replaced so there was no need to replace. All of the walls were stripped to down to the studs. All new electrical, new GFCI outlet, 2 new recessed cans over the vanity, one weather tight light in the shower area, added an outlet for a towel warmer. Insulated all of the walls. Used a mold resistance drywall. New tile floor, beadboard wainscotting was added. Removed the old window and replaced it with a new vinyl energy efficient window. All in all it came out really nice compared to the old one.
Here are pictures of the before and after of the front door. The old 40 yr old door was removed and replaced with a new therma true fiberglass door that was custom painted at the factory. It has vinyl wrapped jambs and it was trimmed out using plastic casing. This door will outlast the homeowner as he said.
Pictures of my latest project. Removed 5 layers of flooring dating back to the original layer of linoleum from the 60s. It was in the kitchen, eating area, back hall and bathroom. Removed all the old baseboard, old 6 panel doors, sliding louvered doors, front door and back door. Re-nailed the entire floor with 8 d ring nail to eliminate the squeaks in the old subfloor. Installed 1k sqrft of pre-finished hardwood flooring, new 5 1/4 tall baseboard, new 4 panel interior doors, new 4 panel bi-fold doors in the closets, new maintainence free back door, and a new front door that was custom painted at the factory. Lots of work involved in this project.
My latest project in merrimack nh. A brand new 3/4 bath in a customers basement. Framed for a 8x12 3/4 bath, insulated the walls, added the electrical components, used a mold and mildew resistance drywall. Mildew proof paint on the walls and trim, a 2x2 ceiling tile. Cleaned up the laundry room area with new drywall, a new drop ceiling, a new awning window which is easily operated by reaching over the washer machine. Also added the custom shelf in front of the washer an dryer to give them a place for the detergents. Cleaned up the walls by adding a coat of eggshell paint. All an all a good project.
Here are pictures from my latest project. It's at a camp up in new ipswich on pratt pond. The owner told me he wanted a 19ft wide by 16ft deep room with a whole new roof system over his old trailer. I had no plans to go by just my experience. Everything was designed by me, fun project.
