The Benton Conservation District recently celebrated the completion of its new 4,300-square-foot pre-engineered metal building in West Richland. The facility includes office space, a shop, and an equipment yard, providing a modern and functional headquarters for the District’s operations. As the largest project undertaken by the Benton Conservation District to date, it stands as a significant milestone - successfully completed on time and within budget. To mark the occasion, the District hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, recognizing and celebrating the individuals whose efforts were instrumental in bringing the project to life.

The latest project in our Concept to Completion series is the West Richland Police Station. This new building was completed in early 2021 and is over 22,000 square feet. Along with all the required spaces needed for a police station, including a squad room, interview rooms, and evidence processing and storage, the facility features a staff break room with an outdoor courtyard that also provides ample daylight throughout the interior of the building.
