“The Johnsons” recently gave me a call after noticing some cracks in the grout around their kitchen faucet and where the counters meet the wall. Their backsplash was still in good shape, but a few of the old grout lines were giving up—especially in spots where the surfaces move a bit differently.

So, I removed the old grout, cleaned everything up, added fresh grout where it was needed, and finished those moving joints with color-matched, siliconized caulk. Once everything was sealed, their kitchen was protected and looking sharp again.
