Welsh Run Builders Welsh Run Builders is a small construction company own and operated by brothers Brad and Kent Hawbaker.

Raised on a dairy farm we leaned the values of honesty and hard work by the example of our parents. We started the company in 2001 and have experience in most types of residential, agriculture, and light commercial projects, especially metal roofing and historic building renovation.

The parable of the rich fool (Luke 12:16–21) tells of a wealthy farmer who had such a great harvest that he decided to tear down his barns and build bigger ones to store his grain. He told himself to relax, eat, drink, and enjoy life.
The rich man hoarded his wealth instead of using it to bless others. Jesus calls us to be generous, knowing that our real treasure is in heaven (Matthew 6:19-21)

In this video, We reclaim materials from an old Barn in Antrim Township, Pennsylvania, carefully salvaging wood to preserve their historic character. The reclaimed materials are then repurposed into a new project located 10 miles away, where they add warmth, charm, and unique craftsmanship to the finished space. The video demonstrates the environmental and aesthetic benefits of sustainable building practices by showcasing the transformation from deconstruction to a thoughtfully crafted final product.

Here’s one of our favorite projects! We took this barn down, and moved it to its new home in Greencastle about 2 years ago. It’s a great way to save these old beauties, so if you or someone you know wants a great building, or needs one removed feel free to let us know!

We replaced the roof on this beautiful brick Bank Barn this fall, we dated it at around 1850’s, or what we would call a 2nd gen Pennsylvania Bank Barn.
