Beach house rule #1: You’re allowed to have a little more fun with color! 💙 (and it doesn't have to include seashells either.)

Blue cabinetry brings personality to this Westport kitchen without making the room feel overly themed or “beachy.” Paired with crisp finishes and natural textures, it gives us that relaxed coastal feeling in a way that still feels polished.

The art was the starting point here.

We pulled the softer lavender, blue, and warm ivory tones from the painting into the rest of the vignette, then let the darker wood and striped lamps keep it from feeling too pale.

We especially like the way the orchid cuts across the artwork. It adds another layer without competing with it.

There’s a point in every project when all of the plans, samples, drawings, decisions and tiny details finally become a home. And that’s the part we never get tired of.

Seeing our clients settle into spaces that were designed specifically for the way they live is incredibly rewarding. The finished photographs may be beautiful, but behind every one of them are months of conversations, decisions, problem solving and collaboration.

That relationship is such an important part of what we do, and one of the reasons every project ends up feeling a little different from the last.

Small moments with big a impact. We took this corner space and created a modern makeup vanity to includes powered hairs dryer pullouts, charging outlets and t s of organized makeup storage. The timeless mosaic marble accent tile and marble countertop adds elegance and glam in a quiet and timeless statement.

One of our favorite ways to create a neutral kitchen that still feels warm? Layer materials instead of adding more color.

In this Woodinville kitchen, creamy cabinetry creates a quiet backdrop while the movement in the natural stone, warm wood details and aged metal finishes bring in depth and character.

When we design with a restrained palette, texture becomes even more important. Stone, wood, metal and textiles all reflect light differently, which keeps a neutral room from ever feeling flat. Neutral doesn’t have to mean simple. Sometimes it gives the details even more room to shine.

The powder room is small, but that doesn't mean it needs to be boring. Actually, it's one of my favorite places to have a little fun.

Wallpaper? Yes.
A really beautiful light fixture? Absolutely.
Interesting tile or a gorgeous stone? Even better.

It's a small space, so you can usually take a few more chances than you might in a larger room. And let's be honest, your guests are going to notice it.

The tub in this primary bath sits right under the window, so the first thing you see soaking in it is the water outside. We ran a herringbone marble floor from there back to the double vanity, and let the mosaic tile climb up around the mirror instead of stopping at the backsplash.

We love designing a room that looks beautiful in a photo. But what we really love is creating a room where your family, friends, and the people you love naturally want to gather. You know the kind.

A family member is perched at the kitchen island, chatting while dinner comes together.
Three friends are squeezed onto the sofa, even though there’s plenty of room elsewhere.
Someone has brought their drink into the room they definitely weren't supposed to bring it into.

And somehow, everyone is having a great time.

Those are the spaces we want to create for our clients - rooms that feel beautiful, also comfortable, welcoming, personal, and designed for real life. The kind of spaces that invite you to sit a little longer, stay awhile, and make yourself at home.
