Twenty-five years ago today, our nation faced one of its darkest moments, and in it, ordinary people rose to meet it with extraordinary courage. Firefighters climbed stairwells others were running down. First responders rushed toward danger without a second thought. Everyday citizens became heroes in an instant, choosing bravery when it mattered most.
Today, we honor that spirit. We remember the selflessness, the bravery, and the unity that carried our country through its darkest hour. That courage still lives on in the first responders who serve our communities every single day. Never forget.
