A big thank you to Mark and the entire team at Team Turf Lawn Care for welcoming Dave and me to your Erie, Pennsylvania location!
We had the opportunity to tour your facility, talk through our processes, and exchange ideas about what’s working in our businesses. It's always valuable to connect with others in the green industry who are willing to share knowledge and learn from each other.
One of the best parts of this industry is the friendships you build along the way. Having people you can call, bounce ideas off of, and grow with is something we never take for granted.
And we can't forget one of the highlights of the visit—meeting the shop cat, **Clover**! 🐈 She definitely made us feel welcome and might just be the real boss around the shop.

🐛🌱 **What's eating your lawn? It could be grubs.**
Grubs are the immature (larval) stage of several types of beetles, including **Japanese beetles, June beetles, and European chafers**.
Here's how they become a problem:
🪲 Adult beetles emerge in early summer and lay their eggs in healthy, well-watered lawns.
🥚 A few weeks later, those eggs hatch into **white grubs** that live underground and begin feeding on the roots of your grass.
As they feed, your lawn may develop:
🟤 Brown patches
🌱 Thin or wilted turf
💧 Grass that doesn't improve with watering
✋ Turf that pulls up easily, like a loose carpet
You may also notice:
🦨 Skunks
🦝 Raccoons
🐦 Birds
