Using a Delta SMR with an edge finder to verify the position and alignment of an existing underhung crane runway system. These SMRs have been a valuable addition, giving us more flexibility for precise measurements and versatile control setups in the field.

What a great opportunity to get out in the field and learn how reality capture is being used on active construction projects- especially right back on campus.

EvoTek recently completed the layout of the CDU support framing for a large data center project.

Before layout began, we used 3D laser scanning to capture the existing conditions and verify our alignment. By overlaying the design models within the point cloud, we were able to compare the planned install against the actual field conditions, identify potential clashes, and provide the project team with a clear visual representation of how the new framing would fit within the space.

We recently wrapped up some work at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center and had time to capture a few scans at the AMSOIL Arena. It’s impressive what the Leica RTC360 can capture in just 8 setup positions. Fast and detailed data collection.
