Commercial Walk-In Cooler Maintenance

Clean condenser coils with coil cleaner and water
Remove dirt, grease, and dust buildup
Make sure condenser fan blades are clean
Check fan motor operation and amperage

Evaporator Coil Inspection

Clean evaporator coil carefully
Check for ice buildup
Verify evaporator fan motors are running properly
Inspect drain pan and drain line for blockage

Temperature Check

Verify box temperature:
Cooler: usually 35°F–38°F
Check thermostat calibration
Verify temperature differential
