Saturday morning job walks have become one of my favorite parts of this business.
No meetings. No phones. No noise.
Just the opportunity to walk through a home and appreciate everything that’s gone into it.
While most people will only ever see the finished product, I see thousands of decisions, problems solved, incredible craftsmanship, and a team that refuses to accept “good enough.”
Nobody notices perfection when it’s done right. And that’s kind of the point.
These quiet mornings are a reminder that luxury isn’t just about expensive materials or incredible architecture. It’s about the people behind it. The trades, designers, architects, and our team who obsess over every detail long before anyone walks through the front door.

Some projects have a moment where they stop looking like a jobsite and start looking like a home.
This is one of those moments.
With the siding going on, the proportions, materials, and details are finally coming together, and it’s exciting to see the original vision taking shape. Every phase before this matters, but this is when the craftsmanship really starts to become visible.
Still plenty of work ahead, but it’s hard not to stop for a minute and appreciate the progress.

The fun part of framing is when the design starts to become real.
At this stage, the architecture begins to speak for itself. The ceiling heights, sight lines, natural light, and overall scale of the home become something you can actually experience.
Still a long way to go, but this is where the vision starts taking shape.

Stairwell is officially ready for measurement.
This three-story custom staircase is going to be one of the defining features of the home. Clean lines, open vertical space, and a ton of natural light coming through.

If the rain could relax for like… 10 days, that’d be great.
Floor joists are in, subfloor is next, and then it’s framing time. Once this thing starts going vertical, it’s game over.
Trophy house in the making with an amazing client and design team . Major credit to the architect for putting together something seriously bad ass.

Atherton progress
Basement is poured, stripped, and officially ready for the next phase.
This is one of those milestone moments where the project shifts from excavation to vertical construction. Waterproofing and backfill are up next, then we’re framing and watching this home take shape fast.
Big things coming on our Atherton spec.
