Sunday afternoon, you're doing a little weekend maintenance around the house. Here's a termite check you can add to your routine. First, tap on wood beams in your basement, garage, or crawl space. Solid wood sounds, well, solid. If it sounds hollow, the inside may have been eaten away by termites. Second, look around windows and door frames for tiny pinhole-sized exit holes.
