The first sign of trouble wasn’t a puddle or a drip, or even a water stain—the bathroom door wouldn’t fully open because hidden moisture had caused the wood flooring to bow.

Our team identified the source, dried the affected area, and completed the necessary repairs.

We’re grateful these homeowners trusted us with their home and took the time to share a five-star review afterward.

Can you guess the source of the hidden moisture?

As part of the remediation process in this Memphis commercial space, thermal fogging disperses a specialized antimicrobial treatment into cracks, crevices, wall cavities, and other difficult-to-access areas-- delivering comprehensive treatment where traditional application methods may not reach.

When fire, smoke, water, and structural damage all collide --- Revival restores the damage you 𝘤𝘢𝘯 see and the damage you 𝘤𝘢𝘯'𝘵.

Fire damage is never one-dimensional and the restoration process shouldn’t be either.

Water intrusion is not always caused by the building envelope itself.

Sometimes, the issue starts with how water is moving outside the building.

This property was experiencing water backing up under the doors during heavy rain due to the surrounding concrete grade and inlet drain placement. The existing layout was not allowing water to drain away from the structure properly, so the project called for a better drainage plan.

As this project wraps up, the work focused on:

✔ Removing & replacing the existing concrete/asphalt drainage areas
✔ Lowering the inlet collars to improve drainage flow
✔ Rebuilding the apron, sidewalk/ramp, and curb at updated elevations
✔ Installing a perforated French drain along the foundation to help redirect water away from the building

The purpose was to correct the conditions that allowed water to reach the doors in the first place -- improving drainage, updating elevations, and helping reduce the risk of future water intrusion.

Drying out the damage matters. Correcting the source matters more.

Older homes are full of character and history, but they can also come with materials that need to be handled carefully before restoration begins.

At this 1960's home on Horseshoe Lake, our team performed abatement and encapsulation to safely address regulated materials and help create a cleaner, safer environment for the next phase of work.

It may not be the most visible part of restoration, but it is one of the most important.

When a property needs more than a surface-level fix, Revival Restoration has the team and resources to help move it forward safely.

What may look like a small leak can sometimes be hiding moisture behind walls, inside closets, around plumbing lines, and beneath finished materials.

That is why moisture mapping matters.

On this job, the leak from the water heater affected multiple areas of the property:

• Laundry room
• HVAC closet
• Hallway
• Kitchen closet
• Kitchen

During the inspection, our team also found suspected microbial growth near the source of the leak. That meant this needed more than a basic cleanup.
It needed a proper mitigation plan.

Proper mitigation is not just about drying what looks wet. It is about finding where the water traveled, protecting unaffected areas, addressing damaged materials, and helping prevent bigger issues from developing.

Notice water stains, musty odors, soft flooring, or signs of moisture?

Give the Revival team a call to schedule a comprehensive evaluation.
