Sometimes the smaller projects make the biggest impact.

This one was a little different for me. I made it for The Mrs. for her birthday, and it was a nice change of pace to step away from a set of plans, measurements, and project deadlines and just build something from the heart.

There’s something special about creating a piece with a specific person in mind. From the proportions to the details, every part of this was built for her and for the space it would call home.

Custom work doesn’t always have to mean a full kitchen or a wall of built-ins. Sometimes one thoughtfully made piece is all it takes to completely change a room.

And this one might just be my favorite project of the year. ❤️

This custom minibar was designed to be as functional as it is beautiful. Hidden in the countertop is an integrated sink that nearly disappears when not in use, giving the homeowner full use of the counter as a workspace when the sink isn’t needed.
