A lot of movement this week with a lot of rain. Even a few break downs. Survived it all just a little wet. You’ll see in some of these photos with the yard dug up. A lot of yards in newer neighborhoods don’t percolate well. They use the marl from the ponds to build a house pad. This particular job we came in and removed about 5+ inches of the marl and dug holes 3’+ foot down to get through the rest of the marl. Put a layer of sand down and fill the holes with the sand. Then put a few inches of topsoil on for the Sod. Unfortunately with all the rain it looks like we’re not getting Sod for a little while, but it’ll be the best looking yard in the neighborhood when we’re done.
