🚨 Attention, Summit County neighbors! Some local residents may currently be affected by a boil water alert. If your home is within the impacted area, use boiled or bottled water for drinking, cooking, brushing your teeth, making ice, preparing baby formula, and filling your pets’ bowls!

Bring tap water to a full rolling boil for at least one minute, then allow it to cool before using. Continue following updates from your local water provider for affected boundaries and the official all-clear.

📞 Meet Dane: Our After-Hours Assistant

If you’ve called Gene’s after hours, you may have spoken with Dane, our AI-powered phone assistant. We understand that talking with AI can feel unfamiliar, so we want to be transparent about why Dane is an important part of our 24/7 emergency service.

While our office team can’t be at their desks around the clock, heating, cooling, and plumbing emergencies don’t follow business hours.

Dane helps us:

🔹 Answer calls 24/7 without hold times
🔹 Gather important details about your situation
🔹 Help identify urgent service needs
🔹 Pass information along to our on-call team
🔹 Make sure after-hours calls don’t go unanswered

Dane doesn’t repair equipment, make technical diagnoses or replace the real people at Gene’s. He helps connect customers with our team when our office is closed, so someone needing emergency service at 2 a.m. isn’t left listening to a voicemail.

We understand that speaking with AI may feel a little different at first. Dane doesn’t replace our team, diagnose equipment or show up at your door holding a wrench (although that would make a pretty great photo).

Technology may handle the first hello after hours, but your service is still handled by the trusted local professionals at Gene’s. 💙💛

⭐ Another five-star experience AND a job others said couldn’t be done!

Beverly first trusted Gene’s to install a mini-split, then called us again to add air conditioning to a recently purchased home. Although two other companies said the difficult project wasn’t possible, our team found a solution and got it done right. 💪
