Each project is thoroughly prepped prior to finish painting. We choose to work with high-quality paints and primers from Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams, and we have a high level of communication so you are involved every step of the way with no surprises! We Paint Houses and Specialize in the Following! Interior Painting - Specifically, we paint ceilings, walls, trim, closets, bedrooms, bathrooms, mudrooms kitchens, dining, family and living rooms, two-story foyers, great rooms, offices, finished basements, unfinished basements floors and block walls, built-ins and book cases, handrails, banisters, spindles, stair treads and risers, one room, multiple or the whole house, repaints, color changes, old and new construction. We offer brush and roller applications as well as spray applications for all of your project needs. If it’s inside and under your roof, we paint it! Exterior Painting - Specifically, we paint wood, vinyl and metal siding, stucco, trim, windows, doors, facias, soffits, eves, dormers, small patch work and painting or full home exteriors, deck staining, one, two or three-story homes. We also offer power washing. If it’s outside and under your roof, we paint it! Cabinet Painting - We paint kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities. Are your wood cabinets in great structural shape but in need of a refresh? Artisan can transform them with a new paint job! We offer brush and roller applications as well as spray applications. Most projects can be done entirely on site in about five days!! We also feature dustless sanding with the use of the Festool HEPA vacuum sander as well as using an air scrubber during the process to help eliminate harmful particulates in the air. Renovations - We also offer carpentry services. Specifically, on the interior, we install crown molding, baseboards, chair rails, window and door casings, shelving, wainscoting and shadow boxing. There’s something pretty special about being invited back into someone’s home year after year. ❤️
This homeowner has trusted our team with nearly every room in their 111-year-old home, along with the exterior. And if you’ve ever owned an older home, you know that working with original plaster requires a little extra knowledge, patience and care.
But what we love most about this review goes beyond the painting. It’s knowing that our clients feel comfortable having our team in their home, that they trust the people doing the work, and that they continue to invite us back.

Small exterior problems don’t always stay small.
This project in Ardmore, PA is a pretty good example of what can happen when water continues to find its way into a home. By the time the damage becomes noticeable inside, there can already be quite a bit going on underneath the surface.
As we head into colder weather, this is a good time to take a walk around your home and look up. Proper drainage, gutters and downspouts, loose, cracked or missing caulk, roof leaks, damaged exterior materials and areas where water can collect or get behind a surface are all worth paying attention to. Ice damming during the winter can create another opportunity for water to get where it shouldn’t.
In this case, simply painting over what you see wouldn’t solve anything. The source of the water needs to be addressed first, then the damaged areas can be properly repaired, prepped and painted.
That’s a big part of taking care of your home. Catch the little things before they become the big things.
And if you’re not sure what you’re looking at, that’s okay. Sometimes the first step is simply having someone take a look.

A great cabinet finish starts long before the finish coat goes on.
Earlier this week, we showed you how much protection goes into preparing an Ardmore kitchen for cabinet painting. Now we’re a little further into the process.
Once the home is protected, the cabinets themselves need the same attention. Cleaning, sanding, repairing imperfections, priming, and preparing the surfaces all happen before the final finish coats are applied.
It’s not the glamorous part of cabinet painting, but it may be the most important. The finished cabinets are what everyone sees. What determines how well that finish looks and holds up is everything underneath it.
That’s a big part of our October conversation about taking care of your home. Sometimes home maintenance means fixing something that’s failing. Other times, it means taking care of what you already have and making sure the work is done properly so you can enjoy it for years to come.
If your cabinets are solid and you still like your kitchen layout, you may not need to replace them. With the right process, we can restore what’s yours.

A beautiful new front door, finished and ready for winter in Newtown Square.
The homeowners upgraded to a new, more energy-efficient front door, and our job was to make sure the finish looked as good as the door itself. Our team carefully prepped and stained the new wood, then applied multiple coats of protective varnish to bring out the natural grain and give it the protection an exterior door needs.
We love projects like this because sometimes taking care of your home isn’t about a huge renovation. A new front door can improve efficiency and help keep the cold air out this winter, while a properly applied finish protects the investment and gives the entire front of the home a beautiful new look.
And that wood grain came out pretty incredible.

Today, a few of us from Free Trade Networking headed down to Rock Manor Golf Course in Wilmington, Delaware, to support the Rose Tree Colts Football program.

As a business based right here in the Rose Tree Media community, it’s always special to support the organizations that give our local kids opportunities to learn, grow, compete, and build friendships.

And getting to spend the day with some of our Free Trade friends made it even better!

Thanks to everyone involved with the Rose Tree Colts for putting together a great outing. We were happy to be a small part of it.

Good friends, good weather, a great cause. Can’t ask for much more than that!

Hanging artwork, mirrors and those final finishing touches are all part of what we can help with at Artisan Painting.

For this project, our friends at Partum Interiors brought our team in to help hang their client’s artwork and install this beautiful mirror. They had the design and vision, our job was to help them execute it.

We really value relationships like this. When a designer trusts Artisan to work inside their client’s home, they’re trusting us to represent them well, respect the space and provide the same level of care they give their own clients.

That’s what collaboration should look like. Good people, each doing what they do best, working together to take care of the customer.

12 years in business. One year in Media. A whole lot of people to thank! 🎉💚

We are getting ready to celebrate two pretty special milestones for Artisan Painting, and we'd love for you to join us!

Next Wednesday, October 14, we're celebrating our 12th anniversary and our first year in Media with a ribbon cutting alongside the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce
