Work Anniversaries for August

As August comes to a close, we'd like to recognize two team members who have helped make Weidner Construction Services what it is today.

Kelsi Wheeler is celebrating 10 years with WCS! Kelsi wears more hats than we can count and is always willing to jump in wherever she's needed. Her ability to keep projects, people, and processes moving in the right direction is something we all rely on every day. Thank you, Kelsi, for a decade of dedication, hard work, and keeping us all on track.

Steve Rook is celebrating 9 years with WCS! Steve has become a cornerstone of our Superintendent team through his commitment to quality, leadership in the field, and dedication to client satisfaction. His professionalism and work ethic are evident on every project he touches.

Congratulations and thank you both for everything you do. We are fortunate to have you as part of the WCS family.

As we wrap up the month of July, we want to take a moment to celebrate two incredible work anniversaries and express our gratitude for the dedication these team members bring to our company every day.

Pamela Trump-Ulrich – Celebrating 2 Years
Pamela is officially wrapping up her second year with us. While many know her as our welcoming Receptionist, her impact stretches far beyond the front desk. From printing crucial project plans and managing jobsite documentation to coordinating our company events, Pamela handles it all. Above all, she makes sure our team morale is at an all-time high at all times. We are genuinely grateful to have her as part of the team.

Doug Wintrode – Celebrating 4 Years (and beyond)
Doug is marking 4 years as a full-time employee, though he has been an integral part of our team for much longer. As a critical component of our superintendent team, Doug brings invaluable experience to the field. His exceptional ability to identify potential issues well in advance keeps our projects moving smoothly and serves as a key component of our collective success.

We are proud to announce that WCS has been awarded and is currently working on the new Little Creek Park Maintenance Building for Jackson Township.
Serving as the general contractor, our team is executing the construction of this modern 3,600-square-foot facility to anchor operations for the expanding community park. Our scope of work includes the complete structural build, from core wood framing to high-end exterior finishes like corrugated metal siding, a snap-clad metal roof, and a 4-foot stone veneer accent. To optimize municipal workflow, the space features a heavy-duty maintenance shop with three massive 12x10 insulated overhead doors and concrete-hardened slabs. Beyond the main shop, our crew is building out fully accessible ADA-compliant offices, multi-purpose spaces, and restroom facilities. We are closely coordinating on-site progress with the mechanical, plumbing, and electrical trades to seamlessly integrate all utility distribution, HVAC systems, and site lighting.
Thank you to Jackson Township for trusting WCS with this vital piece of community infrastructure, and shoutout to our field crew and subcontractors for keeping this build moving forward safely and efficiently.

Mount Joy Borough Authority Construction Department Shop Renovation .
We are proud to announce that WCS has officially completed the Construction Department Shop renovation project for the Mount Joy Borough Authority at 134 N. Market Ave.
As the general contractor, our team fully modernized this facility to serve as the central hub supporting all operations for the authority's construction department. Take a look at the attached before and after photos to see the full transformation of the space. Our work on this comprehensive overhaul included creating new garage door openings, installing entry doors, and applying specialized, durable industrial floor coatings throughout the shop. We also closely coordinated all structural updates alongside the electrical, HVAC, and plumbing trades to deliver a fully renovated facility designed to maximize total department capacity and workflow.
Thank you to the Mount Joy Borough Authority for trusting WCS with this critical infrastructure upgrade, and a big shoutout to our crew and subcontractors for their excellent work on this successful build.

The wait is over for local drivers. The brand-new Cloud10 Smartwash facility located at 3556 Gettysburg Road in Camp Hill is officially open to the public.
If you are a regular customer or already have an active membership from the Carlisle Pike location, your passes can be used interchangeably at this new Camp Hill site. Additionally, the new automated wash tunnel is specially engineered with a wider lane configuration to accommodate larger vehicles, including dually trucks.

PSECU Is completed- Another successful project Weidner Construction Services is proud to announce the completion of the interior fit-out for PSECU's new branch at Susquehanna Union Green in Harrisburg, PA.
After the shell construction was completed, WCS stepped in as General Contractor to transform the space into a modern, member-focused banking environment.
The new branch supports PSECU's continued investment in providing convenient, full-service banking within one of the region's fastest-growing mixed-use developments. From coordination and scheduling through final finishes, our team worked closely with project partners to deliver a high-quality space ready to serve the community. Thank you to PSECU and the entire project team for the opportunity to be part of this exciting addition to Susquehanna Township.
