At Mowery, we are committed to more than just building structures; we are building stronger communities, too! 💙

Last Friday, Mowery and Merit IT employees volunteered for United Way’s Day of Caring, giving back at two locations in the Carlisle community.

🧹 The Salvation Army Carlisle Corps: One group rolled up their sleeves to deep clean the Stuart House Shelter and Genesis House, helping provide tenants with a well-deserved week off from cleaning.

🔨 Camp Thompson, Carlisle Family YMCA: Our second group tackled renovations to the cabins on-site, helping improve the space for those who visit and enjoy the campground.

Mowery is proud to be a longtime participant in this meaningful annual event. We’re grateful for the opportunity to give back, support our neighbors, and make a positive impact in the communities we call home.

This year’s summit featured two panel discussions covering the current state of the market and the future of power, along with a presentation on automation and robotics, and an AI workshop. The educational session was followed by lunch and a golf outing, creating plenty of opportunities to learn, connect, and build relationships across the industry.

So many great things are happening here at Mowery. This map gives a quick snapshot of just how much our teams have underway. Our Special Projects Group and Operations team each currently have over 10 active projects across Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New Jersey.

This week, being National Construction Appreciation Week, we want to give a special shoutout to our field crews. Every day, Mowery employees, subcontractors, and trade partners show up to these jobsites, put in the hard work, solve problems, and keep our projects moving forward. Their craftsmanship, expertise, and dedication are what turn plans into reality.
