Virgo Moon Broadening Smiles & Minds in Mechanic Falls, Maine Since 2015. Local and seasonal ingredients are extremely important to the Virgo Moon vision.
(1)

Virgo Moon was started as a simple and sweet way to facilitate a deeper connection to oneself and the cosmos. The slow crafted herbal candies correspond to the cycles of nature and include astrological material - when you indulge in a Virgo Moon sweet, you're broadening your smile and your mind. The Virgo Moon kitchen is located in a small town in Maine - right next to the garden where many of the herbs are grown and a mile away from the berry farm & bee hives where the berries, peaches & honey are sourced. Jilly grows, harvests and forages as much as she can during the summer months and stores all ingredients with care - once the Virgo Moon reserves are depleted, it is gone until next harvest! Each recipe was formulated over the years by the owner & operator, Jilly, a biologist, artist, astrologer & herbalist who draws inspiration not only from the local flora & fauna and the orbit of the planets, but also from the 19th century apothecaries and drugstore soda fountains - back when the remedies were preserved in sugar ~ at Virgo Moon, a spoonful of sugar helps the wisdom of the cosmos go down. Since Jilly started selling her creations online in 2017, she has included astrological insight with every order - information on Moon phases, the current cosmic weather and other helpful mini guides for cosmic alignment. In 2018, due to a surge in interest of her astrological knowledge, she began offering professional astrological consultations. Consultations can be booked at www.calendly.com/jillyandromeda

First week of Venus Retrograde complete - and we had so many orders for the Venus governed Coconut Caramels (like way more than usual) and we ran out of packaging of the Venus governed Strawberry Hibiscus Rose Fruit Chews! I did take that as an opportunity to re-design the look of the packaging 🖤🕯️

Also, today’s ⚖️ Libra New Moon is conjunct my Ascendant, which means it’s also opposite my natal Venus in Aries 🔥…I have thoughts on this New Moon, which I hope to have time to jot down later today. In the meantime, you can find my short write-up on this Venus Retrograde on my site.

An Aries Full Moon capture.

One of our honeybees (Mars) interrupted my lollipop photography session to get some sugar (Venus).

This time of year is rough for them - not many options for nectar, so they’ve been flying into our candy kitchen whenever we open the door.

Happy Libra Season ♎️

As a Libra Rising, this season marks my astrological Spring ~ nothing puts a pep in my step quite like crunchy leaves & sweater weather 💞
