Tampa Alexander is a graduating senior at T. Wingate Andrews High School with plans to attend Appalachian State University to pursue a degree in Criminal Law.

Throughout her journey, Tampa has faced and overcome many obstacles, yet she has continued to excel academically while maintaining a strong GPA and staying focused on her studies. Her determination, resilience, and hard work are a true reflection of her strength and character.

Senior Spotlight: Sarah Younger

Sarah Younger is a senior at Western Alamance High School. During her time at Western, she has been an outgoing and inspiring young woman who has dedicated her time and energy to both academics and athletics. Her accomplishments include:

* National Honor Society
* National Technical Honor Society
* FCCLA Member
* 4 years of Varsity Track
* 4 years of Varsity Cross Country

Sarah also completed dual enrollment at Alamance Community College, where she earned her CNA certification.

This fall, Sarah will attend the University of North Carolina Wilmington to major in Nursing, with hopes of becoming an ER Registered Nurse.

Senior Spotlight: Keaton Samuel Fredericksen

Keaton is a senior at Third Day Christian Academy and has already been building an impressive future through dual enrollment at Alamance Community College. He is on track to graduate in Spring 2027 with his Associate’s Degree in Fire Prevention and Safety Technology.

Following graduation, Keaton plans to attend the Fire Academy in Fall 2027 to pursue his dream of becoming a firefighter. He currently volunteers with both the Leasburg Fire Department and Prospect Hill Fire Department, showing his commitment to serving his community at such a young age.

In addition to his dedication to public service, Keaton is also an entrepreneur and owner of Triple Cross Landscaping, his own lawn care business.

Keaton’s leadership and hard work extend even further as an Eagle Scout who was recently honored with the Eagle Scout Project of the Year award, a recognition of his outstanding dedication, leadership, and service.

Senior Spotlight: Olivia Brown

Olivia is a senior at ABSS Virtual School and is currently enrolled in the Esthetics Program at Alamance Community College, where she is excelling and is scheduled to complete the program this fall.

Olivia is a smart, determined young woman who can accomplish anything she sets her mind to. She enjoys spending time with her family and close friends and has a heart full of love for those around her. Olivia would do anything she could to help the people she cares about.

Her family is incredibly proud of all she has achieved and is excited to see what the future holds for her. By keeping God close to her heart, they know she is destined for continued success in whatever path she chooses.

Makaylee is graduating from Southeast Alamance High School with an outstanding list of accomplishments and leadership roles.

During high school, Makaylee was involved in:

• Journalism
• FFA
• FCCLA

• Leadership/Teacher Assistant
• Student Aide in Athletic Training

Outside of school, Makaylee cheers at Hillsborough Cheer, Dance & Gymnastics, where she also teaches and coaches younger athletes.

Makaylee received an incredible 17 college acceptances and has fully committed to Barton College, where she was awarded the Presidential Scholarship for the 5-Year Master’s Program in Kinesiology & Exercise Science.

Throughout high school, Gracie has been an outstanding leader and student. Her achievements include serving as NHS Vice President, Freshman Class President, and Senior Class Vice President. She was also Dance Captain for two years, Cheer Co-Captain for one year, and Cheer Captain for one year. In addition, Gracie graduated in the Top 10 of her senior class.

Gracie plans to attend UNC Wilmington to pursue a degree in nursing, with hopes of becoming a pediatric ER nurse.

Senior Spotlight: Kamdyn Wagner

Kamdyn is graduating from Southern Alamance High School and will attend GTCC this fall to pursue Automotive Technologies. After completing his studies there, he plans to transfer into a Porsche Technician Apprenticeship program.

Throughout all four years at SHS, Kamdyn challenged himself academically by taking Honors classes while also dedicating himself to varsity wrestling. His hard work, determination, and commitment on and off the mat have made a lasting impression, and he hopes to inspire his younger brother to follow in his footsteps.

Kamdyn comes from a big, loving family with 7 siblings — 5 sisters and 2 brothers — whom he would do anything for. His family is incredibly proud of the hardworking, driven, and caring young man he is becoming.

Senior Spotlight: Kaylee Webster

Kaylee is a senior at Clover Garden School and also attends Alamance Community College, where she is pursuing cosmetology and is set to complete the program this fall.

During high school, Kaylee proudly participated in the Clover Garden marching band for four years and also ran cross country. In her free time, she enjoys line dancing and volunteering with the Haw River Fire Department.
