Short answer? Same thing. Most people use the terms interchangeably and that's fine.

But if you want the real answer: a post frame building uses large timber posts set in the ground or on a concrete foundation, with engineered trusses that carry the full load. No perimeter foundation needed. That's what makes it faster, more affordable, and just as strong.
