As news spreads that there’s new research showing that flax may act as bio-identical estrogen- We have been messaged by over a dozen of new customers asking if we use flax in our feed. The short answer is yes, BUT - we plan to replace this ingredient in our feed with organic Milo (sorghum) & oats which provides a similar nutrient profile without adding estrogen to our hens and you!
We have about 1 month left of our homemade feed with the flax and we will make an additional post when our eggs are 100-% flax free.

Chicken eggs come in all different sizes based on the age of the Hen.
The pullet egg is one of the first eggs a chicken lays at less than a year old , the chicken egg comes from our hens raging in age from 10months old- 3 years old. The double yolker is a toss up, it could have come from a newer egg layer or a happy accident from one of the more seasons hens.
