Astro Buildings, established in 1969 and based in Mead, Nebraska, specializes in constructing post-frame buildings across Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, South Dakota, Minnesota, and parts of Colorado. Our goal is to cater to each customer's unique needs through our local dealers and sales staff. We are committed to guiding you through all stages of construction, from design to completion, to ensure that your dream building meets your expectations. In addition to agricultural storage and shops, we also build post-frame structures for equestrian, light industrial, commercial, suburban, and acre use. Our buildings have a five-year warranty against roof leaks and snow load losses. The standard .60 CCA-treated posts are guaranteed for 40 years against failure. Additionally, the steel carries a 40-year Limited Manufacturer Warranty. The roof panels have achieved the best Class-4 certification for impact resistance and a Class-A fire rating, resulting in a UL rating for wind, impact, and fire resistance. This may qualify customers for discounted insurance rates through State Farm and American Family Insurance. Our typical building sizes range from 24’ to 80’ wide'and 8’'to 18’ t'll and'can be constructed to almost any length. Custom widths, heights, and lengths are also available. Sometimes the best door is no door at all.

An open-side building gives you fast access to equipment, hay, livestock areas or whatever needs to move in and out without a lot of maneuvering. The important part is planning the opening, height and layout around the way you’ll actually use the space.
