A couple weeks ago, I had the privilege of getting to work on this barn from the 1800's.That's what I love about North Dakota. We preserve stuff here. We gave her a fresh new coat of paint and a full frontal facelift. Unfortunately , the top hay hood couldn't be saved because of years of damage. But that's okay! We made her look beautiful anyways by giving her new facia, corner gable trim and wood soffit underneath. I think she turned out beautiful and the customers are very happy. The customers decided to break this into 2 projects.Because it's an enormous old barn. So next year we'll finish her up. 👍

Had an elderly customer as of late. They needed some custom work done. I had to create some more shallow steps so she could walk down them easier. First time I've built custom steps. But she is happy and these are strong and safe. That's all that matters.
Onto the next satisfied customer. 🙂

So we love doing different types of jobs. This one happen to be at the almost 125 year old Avalon Theater in Larimore ND. They needed a new stage. I have to admit. I've always loved this little town. The people are great and the town is alive and well. And if you know North Dakota, then you know little towns don't always last. I've had the privilege of being able to work on several projects in this town, including the lovely Victorian from a few years past. I am thrilled to have been able to bring back this old stage so it may have many more years of entertainment to come. Until next time Larimore. It's always a pleasure.

I don't have as many before photos of this one, but you get the picture. This one needed a major face lift. But, as you can see, it's came back to life! It got a new roof, new fascia, woodwork, and a new paint job. The customer loves it and I think we did pretty good on this one.

Some good friends of mine had a deck problem that needed to be remedied. This one had seen its day..
Well, we got them figured out and on to a whole new one. To be honest, this was only my second composite deck, I've ever built. It was a challenge and I definitely learned some things. Even after as many years as I've been in this, you still are always learning. I hope they enjoy it for years to come.
