Do you have a drain with a belly, maybe crushed, maybe completely broken. We can help you with that! This customer had a belly in the line that kept back up and you could see the fernco was pushed down. Once we started digging we find that they used SDR piping which is really thin and they smashed it when they put it back so it was holding sewage in about a 30’ section. We actually had to go back another 20’ to find a piece of SDR that was not smashed down. We always recommend using schedule 40 PVC instead of SDR as it holds up better. We also added clean outs to make any future drain work easier.

It was a long day getting this up and running. Customer supplied the softener and the tankless water heater, we provided the rest. When we left they had working hot water. Doesn’t matter if it is your material or we supply all of it, we can help you out! (PS, the piece missing in the softener picture was replaced, lol.)

I found where all the pressure is going. Anyone need to borrow some? I think they have plenty to share, lol!!

Do you have toilets that squeak while they are filling or maybe faucets that just won’t stop dripping? If your pressure is anything over 80psi give us a call and we would be more than happy to help you lower it so it doesn’t destroy all of the fixtures in your home. They are not designed to be operating on a pressure that high.

Sometime we get calls for hot water that smells like sulfur but when you run the water for a little bit it goes away. This is due to bacteria forming in the water heater. This is usually formed as your magnesium anode rod, this is found inside the water heater, does its job. There are a couple of ways to combat this when it is happening. You can turn the water heater all the way up to kill the bacteria, which I do not recommend due to scalding conditions. The other is to flush the tank and replace the magnesium anode rod. We recommend an electric as they will last the life of the tank but you can also use an aluminum anode rod to help combat the issue. If you are having this symptoms please feel free to give us a call and we can get you taken care of.
