CEDARS TAKING OVER YOUR LAND?
Eastern Red Cedar isn’t just an eyesore. Left unmanaged, invasive woody species can reduce usable grazing land, compete for water, impact wildlife habitat and increase wildfire risk. That’s why Oklahoma is investing in programs to help landowners get them under control.
The Oklahoma Conservation Commission’s Invasive Woody Species Cost-Share Program is currently accepting applications for qualifying properties with Eastern Red Cedar, Saltcedar or Mesquite. Applications are open through November 1, 2026, and qualifying landowners with at least 20 contiguous acres used for agriculture or wildlife are encouraged to apply.
William C. Craig Construction can help with the next step.
Our forestry mulching services provide an efficient mechanical solution for clearing invasive cedars and brush, reclaiming usable acreage and improving your property without leaving piles of debris behind.
