A kitchen designed around warmth, contrast, and a little surprise.

European modern custom cabinetry pairs a soft taupe finish with natural woodgrain, creating a warm, understated backdrop for the dramatic movement of Calacatta Oro stone. The oversized island becomes the centerpiece of the space, while the mix of natural textures keeps the kitchen feeling refined, inviting, and timeless.

But the real wow moment is the hidden bar.

What appears to be a seamless run of tall cabinetry opens to reveal a fully integrated bar, concealed behind pocket doors and finished with warm wood tones, open shelving, and dedicated storage. When entertaining, the doors disappear and the bar becomes part of the room. When the evening is over, everything closes away for a completely clean architectural look.

Two islands. Custom European millwork. Natural stone. And a hidden bar designed to transform with the space.

Where materiality becomes the statement.
This kitchen was designed to let the Calacatta Oro take center stage — bringing warmth, movement, and a refined sense of luxury to the space. From the stone-wrapped hood to the continuous backsplash and the marble side panels framing the cabinetry, every detail was thoughtfully carried through to create a seamless, elevated composition.

Paired with warm wood tones, soft cabinetry, and brass accents, the result is a kitchen that feels both sophisticated and timeless.

Project Burl - Custom Dressing Room

A former bedroom reimagined as a full dressing room, built around burl wood veneer used with real intent. Rather than wrapping every surface, we deployed the burl strategically as the room’s signature, so it reads as a designed gesture rather than a finish choice. The centerpiece is the burl feature wall with a fully integrated door, a seamless push-to-open panel that disappears into the grain so the wall stays unbroken. The curved burl island anchors the room, its rounded profile echoed in the arched niches and the oval floor mirror.

The scope also includes a dedicated shoe closet, open display shelving for handbags and accessories, a cushioned window bench with drawer storage below, and full LED integration: warm linear lighting runs along every hanging rod and shelf edge, giving the pieces a lit-from-within glow that flatters the soft neutral palette. The custom drawer island with rounded pulls handles folded storage, and the burl-clad arched niche creates a display moment for statement pieces. A quiet palette of warm creams, soft blush plaster, and natural oak lets the burl and the lighting do the talking.

PROJECT STILLHOUSE | Sterling, VA

We’re getting ready to transform this home from the inside out with a complete gut renovation — and there’s a lot happening.

The interior transformation will include a brand-new kitchen, primary bathroom, custom closets, built-ins, a statement fireplace, and a completely redesigned bar.

We’re also making a major architectural change to the rear of the home — removing the existing inoperable French doors and dated half-moon windows and replacing them with expansive multi-slide doors to create a much stronger connection between the interior and outdoor living spaces.

And the grand finale: a brand-new covered four-season deck designed to become a true extension of the home.

Exceptional design is defined by the details.

Our Windover Kitchen in Vienna, VA pairs hand-selected white oak veneer with crisp white lacquer cabinetry, creating a refined balance of warmth and modern sophistication.

From the fluted white oak island and illuminated glass cabinetry to the dramatic full-height Cristallo stone backsplash and waterfall island, every material and detail was intentionally designed to work as one cohesive statement.

This was a spec home. It sold for $3.5M.

This basement fireplace went from dated to timeless with a floor-to-ceiling installation of Emil America porcelain slabs, creating a sophisticated focal point that completely transformed the space. Every detail, from the precision slab layout to the seamless installation, was carefully executed to deliver a clean, luxurious finish.
